The Rain Bird

ET Manager uses real-time weather conditions to determine evaporation

and automate landscape irrigation keeping landscapes healthy while preserving precious

water resources. The most accurate product of its’ kind, the ET Manager utilizes real-time,

hourly weather information gathered from local precision weather stations which measure

all weather parameters including solar radiation, temperature, wind, humidity, and rain.

Weather information is shared throughout a community through a commercial paging sys-

tem and used by the ET Manager to determine watering frequency, eliminating the need to

purchase or maintain on-site weather stations.

An ET Manager can be connected to most controllers to automate water management based

on ET and rain. With features such as rain, freeze and high wind shut-off the ET Manager

offers core benefits of advanced control. The ET Manager is reliable featuring power failure

backup and programmable Historical ET settings.

The ET Manager follows the Irrigation Association’s Best Management Practices of “Managed

Allowed Depletion” which promotes deep, less frequent watering. The ET Manager maintains

an optimum soil moisture level, allowing the soil to dry out to a healthy level. Irrigation only

occurs when needed.

The return on investment for the ET Manager includes water savings typically between 30-
