ESTABLISHING A NEW WEATHER REACH SIGNAL PROVIDER

OVERVIEW

The ET Manager receives a wireless signal containing weather data from a local weather station. A

Weather Reach Signal Provider (WRSP) manages a weather station network and provides weather infor-

mation to a community. An unlimited number of properties can share accurate weather information to

automatically manage watering schedules.

Public agencies, contractors, homeowners associations and others can benefit from the system. For

example, water conservation objectives of public agencies can be advanced, contractors can improve

water management services and homeowners associations can help the community save money.

The Weather Reach Server is a software application that retrieves weather data from weather stations

and delivers the information via paging to an unlimited number of ET Managers. The weather data is

broadcast wirelessly, via paging, to ET Managers. The Weather Reach Server is also capable of automati-

cally updating web sites with current weather conditions and evapotranspiration (ET) data.

If a Weather Reach Signal Provider is not available to service a project there are several options available

to establishing a new Weather Reach Signal Provider.
